Disaster Con – Organized
It’s November, and you know what that means — UPDATES FIVE DAYS A WEEK. Well, I mean, except for THIS week… because the first fell on a Tuesday and all…
BUT YOU GET WHAT I’M SAYING, RIGHT?
(ALSO I KNOW ABOUT THE TYPO IN THIS ONE – I’LL FIX IT SOON)
Oh Lynn. Lynn, Why would you ever *say* that.
Organization is a very good thing, Also good things: dedication, improvisation, and luck. I’ve seen cons with the last three and none of the first go swimmingly. (Furfright, which had a rep as ‘The con that just happens’. and did quite successfully for a decade.)
Oh yea I remember you telling me about a Disaster con plot you had in mind to parody some disaster cons that have happened since then.
Planning a story two years ahead of time isn’t weird. Having a winkie that’s also a key? That’s weird.
Disasters take an awful lot of planning
SHE SAID THE PHRASE OF DHOOOM!
There’s planning, and there’s Planning. If you only plan for the plan, disaster is sure to follow, as nothing ever sticks to plan. But if you plan for what to do if the plan fails, might be okay.
